Luna's Unforgettable Experience With Make-A-Wish
My name is Luna Lykke Sørensen, and when I was 2-3 and 5-6 years old, I had leukemia.
I got better in 2013, and then my mother applied to "Make a wish" to see if I could have a wish granted.
I clearly remember a nice lady coming to our home and asking me what my three biggest wishes were.
At first, I said that the only thing I wanted was a lot of teddy bears. She then asked me if there was a trip I would like to go on. She gave me some ideas, one of which was to go to Portugal and swim with dolphins. I remember that I really wanted to do that, but it was such a crazy idea that I didn't think it was possible at all. A few weeks passed, and one day when I was at school, a lady suddenly came into the classroom and asked for me. When she came in, she was holding an inflatable dolphin and a teddy bear. She then told me that "Make a wish" had made it possible for me and my family to go to Portugal and swim with dolphins. I remember that I was so happy and grateful.

In the summer of 2014, my family and I went to Portugal. We had a really great holiday and had a lot of fun. In the middle of the trip, we went out to swim with dolphins. I remember that I was really excited. When we arrived at the site, we were given a lot of rules, and then we went into the pool where the dolphins were. We learned how to swim and play with them, and it was an experience of a lifetime. "Make a wish" made it possible to grant my wish back then, but they also gave me an experience of a lifetime that I will never forget.
