Make-A-Wish grants a wish
Make-A-Wish Denmark fulfills wishes for children with critical illnesses. We publish the total amount donated each month.
I bet my entire savings on this
My name is Rasmus, and for many years everything revolved around one thing: becoming an elite athlete. I trained when others had time off. Then one day it was over, and the dream I had built my life around shattered.
After two courses of leukemia treatment, my cousin Luna had her Make-A-Wish wish granted: to swim with dolphins in Portugal. A respite filled with magic and joy – for her and the whole family. That is why 100 DKK from every purchase goes to others.
I know what it feels like to stand alone with a dream that no one else can see yet – and how much it means when someone believes in it.
My dream is therefore to build a platform where people can get support for their dreams: visibility, community, and one day, funding. Every time you buy a Dreamates product, we are one step closer.
A breather filled with magic and joy. About Luna's wish
— Rasmus, founder of Dreamates
We are building a place where dreams can be financed
It starts with a pair of sunglasses and a wish at Make-A-Wish. It ends with Dreamates Capital: money that goes directly to people's dreams. Every purchase is a step up the stairs.

One purchase, one wish closer
The first collection is out. From every pair of glasses, 100 DKK goes to Make-A-Wish Denmark.

02Now
Visibility to the dreamers
We tell the stories of people in the midst of their journey — and root for them, through the ups and downs.
-
03Next
Collections with dreamers
The next collection is being created with a dreamer who gets to choose which cause the money goes to.
-
04The goal
Dreamates Capital
The ultimate goal: a place where dreams can get funding — so the money goes directly to people's dreams.
The ultimate goal
The goal: 200 glasses before Christmas
The first collection is limited to a set number of glasses. Once they 200 are sold, we will donate 20.000 kroner to Make-A-Wish Denmark — proving that the model works.

Those we are building this for
Marie, who dreams of padel. Oscar, who dreams of standing behind the podium. We follow people who are in the middle of the journey — not those who have reached their goal.

The first collection will not be reproduced
When they're gone, they're gone. The next collection will be a different pair of glasses, a different dreamer, and a different story.
How much goes to charity?
DKK 100 per pair of glasses sold goes to Make-A-Wish Denmark. This is a fixed amount, regardless of whether we make a profit. We publish the total amount donated each month.
Why should I buy here instead of from MessyWeekend?
The glasses are designed for Dreamates and are only sold here. MessyWeekend produces them for us. If you buy them here, 100 kroner will go to Make-A-Wish — that won't happen anywhere else.
What is Make-A-Wish?
Make-A-Wish Denmark fulfills wishes for children and young people with critical illnesses. The organization is approved under Section 8A of the Danish Taxation Act.
What if the glasses don't suit me?
You have a 30-day return policy. Return it in the condition you received it, and you'll get a refund. Write to info@dreamates.dk, and we'll send you a return label.
When will I get it?
2-4 business days. We ship from Denmark and pack the same business day for orders placed before 2 PM.
Does it fit everyone?
The frame is unisex and in a universal size. Clear acetate, blue lenses, UV400.
Are there going to be more products?
Yes. The next collection will be created together with a dreamer who chooses the charity themselves, and is funded by the sales of the first one. Join the waitlist, and you'll be the first to know.
Who is behind Dreamates?
Rasmus Lykke Madsen, 21, former elite athlete. Dreamates ApS, CVR 45559971. Write to info@dreamates.dk — you'll get a reply from him personally.
